Who

We Are

We draw on the Reggio Emilia philosophy and IB-inspired inquiry, and we hold to one non-negotiable — no screens in the early years. At three, the world is already the most interesting thing in the room. Clay, water, sand, paint, story and song do work no device can.

We are founder-led. Eleven years in, that still means someone who cares deeply is in the building, knows the families, and answers the phone.

OUR PURPOSE

To give children an early education worth remembering — one that treats the first five years as formative, not preparatory.

01

Trust the child as a capable and powerful learner.

02

Let the environment do the teaching alongside us.

03

Hold the educator's work in high regard, and invest in it.

04

Bring families genuinely inside the child's learning.

05

Protect childhood from the screen.

Our Values

Six words we try to live up to, every single day.

Curiosity

Kindness

What We Hope

For Every Child

That they leave us able to…

A smiling girl and a boy waving happily
  1. Ask their own questions, and stay with them.
  2. Say what they think, and listen to someone who disagrees.
  3. Try, fail, and try differently.
  4. Notice when someone needs help.
  5. Care for a plant, a pet, a place that isn't theirs.
  6. Feel at home in a room full of people.
  7. And love a book before they can read one.

ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR 2026–27

Come and spend a morning with us.

The best way to understand Bright Beginnings is to see it — the clay on the tables, the questions on the walls, the children in the middle of it all. Walk the rooms, meet our teachers, and ask us anything.
