EMPI Business School

Pankaj Saran

President, EMPI
Hony. Consul General of St. Vincent & Grenadines (Commonwealth country),
Director, AIC-EMPI
Co-Founder & Director (AP Aerospace & Defence Electronics Park)

The world is experiencing exponential technological changes that are rapidly impacting all aspects of humanity. These ubiquitous changes are bringing forth dramatic transformation in socioeconomic structures and processes. Ancient civilisations, like India, are more effected, as they have indigenous traditions and cultures, embedded within them, having evolved slowly, suddenly facing this onslaught. Education, especially Management Education has to play a critical role in preparing the young mind to chart their own paths, that balance tradition and modernity; science and art; wealth creation and distribution; commerce and Social good, and above all Resources and the Environment.

EMPI, decided at its inception that it’s credo being Innovation Futures, shall be at the forefront of innovation, whereby, rather than passively being the recipient of change, it will be involved in shaping the future. Thus it has restructured itself as a platform that have created a number of “ India’s firsts”; from pioneering the Innovation movement under President Kalam, to enabling Policy formulation with PM Vajpayee and now Innovation clusters that evolved under the visionary guidance of the Hon’ble PM Modi. These opportunities, we feel are unique in that they allow our students and faculty to go way beyond the obvious classroom and learn from these “large thematic projects”.

We look forward to associating with multiple stakeholders to carry our mission of innovating futures forward.

Dr. Abira Saran

Vice-President & Director

EMPI is a unique institution and distinctly stands apart as it endeavours to live by the ideals and ideologies of value based education. The residential Gurukul B-School of EMPI is nestled in a serene green campus in the upmarket Ansal Villas complex near Chattarpur, with the upcoming surrounding institutional area of various Government ministries, including a huge hospital of AIIMS,and surrounded by the Asola green belt thus making it an ideal destination to focus, reflect and learn in itspeaceful ambience. The educational process at EMPI is designed for the holistic development of the students, as it was felt that in order to become an effective manager one requires an attitude of mind, of positive action and solution seeking rather than mere fault finding. The campus life is thus a simulation of the corporate life, wherein one is put through a disciplined lifestyle and learns to collaborate, adapt, demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm and above all develop an attitude of lifelong learning. Also, the high-point of EMPI’s educational process is personalisation and focus on each individual student and their development rather than a scaled up education model, thus making EMPI a boutique institution.

In an increasingly capitalistic, consumeristic world driven by bottom-lines and profit maximisation, EMPI is striving to constantly remind one of the core Indian value of Vidyadhanang Sarvapradhanam (The wealth of knowledge is most important among all the wealths) the essence of which is that while material wealth can provide comfort, it is knowledge that truly enriches life, fosters growth, and shapes a better future for individuals and communities a like.

We welcome all to the unique EMPI experience!
