Founder of Country’s first cooperative fertiliser factory (SSF fertiliser)
In Maharashtra’s 500+ year old tradition of Pandharpur town pilgrimage (called Pandharpur Aashadhi vaari), since many generations , consecration of great saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj paduka (mould of feet meant to carry divine presence) is entrusted to Dudhgaonkar family.
In such a blessed family with great heritage, a on 9th September 1945 on auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi occasion, Ganeshrao Nagorao Dudhgaonkar (Shindeshahi-Raut) was born. He was inspired not only by social structure of being from a responsible family but also had inner drive to study, be productive, do as taught by Humanity-builders of the time. His 4th grade to PUC (modern era’s 11th grade) education happened at Higher Secondary School at Purna. One of the teachers was Shri. Bapurao Parve (aged 92 in 2023).
From then Shri. Ganeshrao went on to college at Shivaji College, Parbhani, which was established in 1959 at Parbhani by Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Chatrapati Sambhajinagar (then Aurangabad till name change in year 2022). This is where Ganeshrao came across a talented young man with a poetic heart Shri. Fakir Munjaji Shinde. Ganeshrao earned many of his lifelong friends while being a student leader. Late Shri. Bapu Adkine, Sahebrao Labde, Late Suresh Jadhav, Datta Chaugule, and a political adversary Shri. VIjay Annasaheb Gavhane.
While in college, he fell in love with a Maratha girl whom he married on 2nd June 1971. Ganeshrao was a revolutionary at heart even then. Dowry was a norm then but Ganeshrao did not fall for this social evil & also was sure of marrying only an educated girl. During sports events he saw Ms. Sandhya Shridharao Kadam (Dharasurkar), an educated girl from reputed family. Well….. Rest is history.

Honored to be member of a family where 1 grandmother, wife’s grandfather and father-in-law of niece actively participated in the Marathwada Liberation (Mukti Sangram) movement that led to 1948 Operation Polo decision by Iron man of India Sardar Patel, against Muslim Nizam of Hyderabad state.
Was one of dashing youth Leaders of Marathwada Vikas Andolan of 1974. Main demands of Andolan were – Person from Marathwada should become CM of Maharashtra asap, Jayakwadi Dam, Lower Dudhna, Vishnupuri irrigation projects should be put on fast track, Broadguage railway, Aurangabad high court creation etc

The moment he was sworn in on 2 February 1983 as minister, who envisioned about dire need of MNCs for Marathwada’s transformation and played decisive role for bringing Bajaj Auto Plant to Chatrapati Sambhajinagar; as well as later establish IGTR, CEDT, MCED, CIPET (scroll at bottom of post for full forms of institutions)
As minister created private technical education policy which started technical education revolution in state through establishment of Engg colleges of MGM, Bharati Vidyapeeth, MIT Pune, etc.
As guardian minister of Amravati, Buldhana districts, played decisive role in quick creation of Amravati University, Revenue office, Office of IGP, Amravati Mahapalika
Envisioned Hajira (Surat) – Buldhana – Parbhani – Nagpur – Paradweep Odisha LPG gas pipeline in late 1980’s (then a ₹ 15,000 crore project with potential of establishing network of fertiliser factories, plastic Industry, cheap power for Industry and homes, piped gas connections for households)
Who got the country’s policy changed & established country’s first cooperative SSP fertiliser factory (at Jintur Parbhani)
Founded Dnyanopasak Shikshan Mandal with over 18 institutes today. DSM College Parbhani reestablished the lost educational culture of Parbhani district and went on to become one of top 5 colleges of university. NAAC A graded twice.
Member of 15th Loksabha – Set record for attendance as well as active participation in Loksabha.
PM Modi wave for 16th General elections was evident to the whole world. Despite this, due to mistreatment/ disrespect shown by then Shivsena supremo, rejected the opportunity to become MP again in 16th and 17th Loksabha.
In 2019 Loksabha and Vidhansabha elections, played important role in Parbhani and Hingoli districts
Helped numerous people get jobs in many cooperative institutions, Parbhani DCC Bank, Mumbai APMC, Marketing Federation, Dnyanopasak Shikshan Mandal etc.
Played divisive role in helping karykartyas from all castes become MLA.

Due to which institutes like Bharti University, MGM, MIT were established 45 ITI Institutes and 45 Technical Secondary Schools were started in Marathwada.Founder President Gyanopasak Shikshan Mandal Parbhani (Established 1981) imparted high quality education to more than 50,000 students till date Gyanopasak College Parbhani received A grade from NAC and one of the top five colleges in the University Gyanopasak Shikshan Mandal is renowned throughout the district for quality education. The institution has 3 colleges and 6 secondary schools in the entire district.
